Summer Programs
The wonder of science comes to life at the Children’s Maritime Museum! This year’s theme is Air, Land, and Sea. Children solve real-life problems, make predictions, design their own tests, and uncover answers through experiments that awaken the scientist within. The wide range of activities excites children of all ages! All sessions are conducted by certified teachers in a safe and stimulating environment. Who knew learning could be so much fun?!

Kooky Kites
Choose your fabric, design your very own kite, and then fly it at the beach!

Awesome Airplanes
Join the ranks of Orville and Wilbur Wright! Design, build, and fly your own creations.

Balloonatics
Launch your own balloon rockets, create amazing sculptures with static electricity. Shocking!

Over and Under Bridge Design
Who is that tromping across my bridge? Build one, and then roll 20 pounds of pebbles across it.

Fabulous Forensics
Put on your detective hats! Fingerprints, chromatography, secret codes.

Constructing Contraptions
Create a house that the big, bad wolf can’t blow down! Be an amazing architect!

Cool Chemistry
Measure, Mix, Marvel! Explore the physical and chemical changes that occur all around us.

Water, Water Everywhere
Sink or float? Design a boat!

 

 Totally Tactile
Roll up your sleeves! Goo and slime, and mystery objects. Oh my! Let your fingers do the talking!

Session Information
Sign up for one or both weeks of a session. Each session is filled with unique activities that change weekly and are tailored to the children’s age groups.
