Chandlery Cargo Challenge - ‘The Chandlery Cargo Challenge’ invites visitors to use select material and equipment in creative ways to transport cargo from one point to another point. This program introduces visitors to the primary function of the Bayles Chandlery (the building that will become the Museum’s home): to outfit ships with supplies for ocean voyages.

The Museum field tested the pilot version of this program in September 2005 at Estuary Day in Port Jefferson.
