Children's Concert & Puppet Show - In September 2005, CMM hosted an afternoon of music and dancing at Sports Plus in Lake Grove. Musicians Karen Jordan and Beth & Scott and Friends and puppetry group Flexitoon performed for a crowd of over 200 children and adults.

Family Fishing Trip - In May 2005, CMM supporters set sail aboard the Eddie B III. Trips departed from the Captree Boat Basin for several hours of fishing and fun with family and friends. The event proved to be enormously popular with over 150 participants. We hope that you will join us in May 2006 for CMM's 2nd Annual Family Fishing Trip.

'Friendraisers' - 'Friendraisers' are small, informal fundraising events that are held at private homes. Potential CMM supporters gather to learn about CMM's mission, its progress and its fundraising initiatives. The Museum solicits funds, interesting people in volunteer opportunities and cultivating future donors and potential board members. Guests may participate in program demonstrations; view a slide show, read informational displays and listen to speakers discuss CMM's accomplishments and future. Raffle - In February 2005, CMM held its first raffle event. Five great prizes were offered including the grand prize of a 7-day Caribbean Cruise. Congratulations to the winners.

Holiday cards - In December 2004 and again in December 2005, CMM sold its signature holiday cards. The initiative proved to be both a fundraising and a public relations success by introducing CMM's logo and mission to hundreds of people.
